Remarkable sound, excellent. Just one problem

Where in Jesus' name did the kicks go? :P

F-777 responds:

Your speakers probably blew out...theres hard kicks throughout most of the song =P.

Thanks for the review!

Hmm.. nice.

It's pretty good, something on the piano which shows how you can bring out emotions in people through a structure of notes. It's quite a nice piece of music. In my opinion though, this shouldn't be a piece of music only for piano. Get yourself some string chords, maybe some light drumming and bring up some power, expose those emotions you're trying to bring out through your music.

Xavon responds:

I'll definitely try that sometime, I'm sure I have plenty of strings and such in FL/Nexus somewhere.

Very, very, very.. very nice.

I gotta say, that song was good,
first though a question: Using PoiZone and didn't pay right? Nice white noise generated :P
This isn't the genre I normally enjoy, but you've got alot of talent and know how to make some funky music :D Well done.

SuperTonic64 responds:

Lol, yes. :D How did you know? :D

How do I fix it though? :D I've been trying to figure it out. :D

Anywho, thanks for the review. ^^

Nice song, very nice.

I'm gonna say, the melody was great, and everything fell together properly, but I'd like to supply some negative feedback so we could see some even more amazing stuff in the future from you. I didn't enjoy the kick drums and toms, and unfortunately, the kind of melodic writing you used would not have fit into trance, so you're fusing two dangerous parts of music there together. To achieve a better piece of music, either edit the kick drums and toms and the main instrument to a sine wave instrument instead of saw, and that'll be a genre change, or change the backing slightly, change the kick drums to be more trancy/punchy, and get 2 saws, silver and gold being used to create a more powerful trance sound, along with a slightly changed, more trancy melody. I take nothing away from you with this review, I just wish to add on. Thanks for the music, and keep up the effort!

Kid2Will responds:

I'll play around with it so i can better understand what your talking about.Anyway thanks for the review!

One of the best songs on newgrounds

It's blatantly obvious that you're an up and coming trance artist. Give it a couple more years and I believe you'll be world standard, up with Armin van Buuren and hardstyle artist Scott Brown :P

Sp1r1T responds:

woah Awesome!

Yeah, the talent's there

It's good, I agree, I like the talent that you have for making various melodies, and the drumtrack was quite good considering the genre of the music. However, I'm going to supply a bit of constructive criticism, because I'd want to see more from you, which I can imagine would be very good. This genre is at a halfway point, the prominent side showing as trance. I believe that you should look into trance music. Try learning about sweeps, synthesized instruments, and pads to fill out the background that is there in your music. Also, I know what studio you're using and what most of the instruments are, and that's not something you would want, you need to produce so many layers that the music cannot be identified by any of its listeners. Please keep producing, I'm looking forward to anything you produce in the future if you heed my advice :)

wyldfyre1 responds:

hehe first of all its funny i used the word trance as more as a hypnotic phrase rather then the gendre of music. I see how people get that mistaken. Though i do want to look into trance music and try my hand at it some. I love constructive criticism so no worries there. Yeah, its easy to know what studiio i'm using especually with my earlier music such as this. Thoouuugh i'm still learning a bit more about the other 2 programs i have (reason 3.0 and magix music studio delux 12) so till i learn more i'm stuck with this studio. I'm glad to see a nice long constructive read like this =) thanks for the great review man.

Hmm, some interesting stuff here

Well I see some talent here I'll admit, you obviously spent alot of time on this song. In my honest opinion though, this isn't really good music. I think you should concentrate this talent of yours into music that's a bit more.. well, musical. Lol. But still, I don't want you to take that to mean that this isn't good. This just seems like a compilation of everything you can do. Put this into something with some long lasting tune and I reckon you'd get a good tune out of it.

Androu1 responds:

Wow! I am talented! A lot of people said that so far,so it must be true.My main problem is that I concentrate toooooooo much on the drums of my songs, and I don't really concentrate a lot on the tune. And since it's a remix,I had no idea of what tune to make.It would have a better tune,if this wasn't a remix.

But,I will use your tips to another remix I have on my mind (of another song, off course).

Well,your review was really helpfull.Thanks!

Very good

This is a very nice piece, Everything comes in at the right time and it's fun to listen to. However, I don't think this has been elaborated on enough. I think that you need to further your DJing skills past simple volume. Look towards reverb, phaser and other effects that might well on parts of your song and research automation clips to enhance the effects at different times.
I really do suggest FL Studio 7 to make this possible if you can afford it. I hope to hear more music from you, especially if it's something like this again. Just a little bit more enhanced.

Goukisan responds:

no research needed Kele, I'm quite aware of the features in FLStudio, in fact there is reverb on both the guitar and the piano. At the time I made the first GvP I didn't know about these things though. This being a remake, I tried to stay as faithful to the first as possible

I make music =) Badly =)
